The third day kicks off with the Jewson Novices Handicap Chase - not a race too get too financially involved with up to 20 novice chasers hurtling arond Cheltenham followed by the Pertemps Final. The chase feature of the day is the Ryanair Chase. Take your pick from the market leaders (current prices in brackets and subject to change) - Poquelin (6/1) , Barbers Shop(7/1) , Tranquil Sea (8) , Planet of Sound (9) but don't be surprised if there is a less exposed type lurking around to land this race.

Those who prefer hurdle races may want to use their free bet on the World Hurdle. A gruelling three mile plus contest which crown's Europe's staying hurdler is one of the highlights of the Festival and proving to be one of the most popular betting events of the week.

The Festival Plate follows the World Hurdle and don't be surprised if the race is won by a big price outsider. This is one of the most competitive races all week. Next up is the Kim Muir while the closing contest on Day Three and the last opportunity to user that free bet is the Kim Muir Chase.
