Welcome
to the first Twitter Grand National Guide. The chance of every horse summed
up in 140 characters or less. See what we have to say about the horse you
fancy or the one you picked in the office Sweep.
Cloudy Lane: Too high in the weights , place chance at best but
better place chances out there.
Chelsea Harbour: No reason why he should improve on last year's 10th
place with xtra weight to carry.
Snowy Morning: Placed last year but punished by handicapper. Need
to be big price for each-way punt.
Knowhere: Could be going somewhere and has live each way chance despite
big weight.
Comply or Die: Very hard to win this race two years running. Look
elsewhere for better value.
Ollie Magern: Consistent and should put in a creditable display if
rain holds off.
Stan: Chance on form earlier this year but not consistent and trip
unknown.
Black Apalachi: Has course form,is in form and is beautifully formed.
Lay at your peril.
Hear The Echo: fairly consisent but lacks quality to back here especially
at current price.
Preists Leap: Needs it bottomless which it won't get though not without
a prayer.
My Will. Class act. Will be hard to beat if taking to fences and
recovered from recent Cheltenham run
Eurotrek: Suited by course but tough ask after such a long lay off.
State Of Play: Can run the occasional good race but not up to this
off current weight.
Big Fella Thanks: Been laid out for this but will need to improve
to get in the shake up.
Mon Mome: Outsiders chance on best of form but currently running
like a drain.
Silver Birch: Former winner but probably just here to give owners
a day out.
Butler's Cabin: Incredibly short price for a horse who has shown
little for two years. Lay all day.
Offshore Account: Very consistent and well regarded. Watch and follow
the market.
Parson's Legacy: Solid form credentials. Certainly one to consider
Reveillez: Reasonable run on latest start but need to improve to
play a part here.
Fundamentalist: Has lost good consistency of late but trainer in-form
and could run well.
Golden Flight: Fair form in France two years ago but jumping a distinct
worry.
L'Ami: In excellent spirits and will go very close if putting in
two clear rounds.
Battlecry: Place chance if recapturing early season form but last
two runs have been woeful.
Cornish Sett: Recent form poor and generally not up to winning a
race of this calibre.
Fleet Street: best form could see him hit the headlines but looks
yesterday's news.
Musica Bella: Not well handicapped and no real chance even on best
of form.
Can't Buy Time: Improving type but doubtful overall level of form
is good enough.
Darkness: Still well handicapped and could light up Aintree on Saturday.
Irish Invader: Some fair performances in his native country but doubtful
he is up to this.
Rambling Minister: Solid form credentials but has had some hard races
this season and may tire late on.
Southern Vic: Needs it bottomless and with the weather set fair others
preferred.
KIlbeggan Blade: Another who needs it soft. In fair form but jumping
a concern.
Brooklyn Brownie: Consistent sort.Likely type to place each way but
won't win.
Himalayan Trail: Not the obvious choice on form but market support
would be interesting.
Arteea: Hopelessly outclassed and best avoided.
Cerium: Stable out of form and although reasonable effort last time,
has no real chance.
Idle Talk: Will get round course but nt as quickly as the others.
Kelami: Slight chance on best of form but comes here on the back
of some dreadful efforts over hurdles.
Zabenz: Veteran chaser. Not without chance on very best of form but
place chances at best.
